Today, I felt compelled to answer a question posted by someone in a LinkedIn thread. The question basically goes like this: “I have years of experience but given the state of the job market should I take the first job offered or continue to hold out for a better job?”
I had a pretty tough week of some unfortunate circumstances prior to watching the walk. I won’t get into details because many are dealing with far worse situations and the obstacles weren’t anything that couldn’t be overcome – just a distraction.
Legally, my wife and I knew the rent was ours. But, it didn’t feel right not trying to help out. We have been in their shoes, in fact, I think I am still wearing those shoes
